Privacy & affiliate disclosure

Who operates this website

Simon Jennings operates Bay Window Finder under the Made Simple name. For privacy enquiries and requests, email wiserebel.sj@gmail.com.

Your measurements are held in this page’s memory. We do not save them to a server, include them in analytics or retain them after a reload. Copy and print only happen when you request them.

Optional analytics

Analytics is disabled unless this site has its own configured Google Analytics stream. When enabled, we ask before loading Google Analytics or setting its cookies. Accept and reject are available equally. Use Analytics preferences to change your choice. Rejecting does not affect the calculator.

With permission, Google receives visit and traffic-source information, technical connection information, and calculator and recommendation events labelled bay-window-finder. Our event hooks exclude your measurements, query strings, full referring URLs, contact details and outbound link URLs. No advertising features, cross-site linker or user IDs are configured. Google Analytics is not anonymous.

The preference is stored locally for 180 days; analytics cookies are configured for 30 days. Withdrawing consent stops subsequent collection and clears this app’s host-only analytics cookies. Data already sent is subject to the operator’s Google account retention and deletion settings.

Retailer links

Some links are advertisements / affiliate links, labelled beside the purchasing link. We may earn a commission when you buy through them. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Other retailer and guidance links do not earn commission. Affiliate links may carry our website tracking ID to the retailer or affiliate network. Retailers process your visit under their own privacy and cookie notices. We do not receive order-level personal information. Confirmed sales and commissions can only be reported from verified retailer reports, never inferred from clicks.

Hosting and your rights

Netlify hosts this website and may process technical connection information to deliver and secure it. Optional Google Analytics is disabled in this release. If it is enabled later, this notice will explain the active processing, retention and international-transfer arrangements.

Contact Simon Jennings at the email above to ask about your information or exercise applicable privacy rights. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
